Association Function

    • The Brand Name of Departmental Association is CEA FEST (Civil Engineering Association festival).
    • The Association was Inaugurated on 12th of August 2011 at Seminar Hall in the Campus.
    • Chief Guest of the Function Er.Lakshmanan Chartered Engineer.
    • Guest Lecture on Earthquake safe Construction of Masonry Structures for Seismic Zones III.

    • Various Guest Lectures have been arranged for the students who are excellent in their respective fields.
    • Mr.Thiyagarajan AE/Highways presented a lecture on ROAD ESTIMATION AND PAVEMENT DESIGN on 10th of September 2012.
    • Mrs.G.Vani, Research Scholar in NIT, Presented a Paper on BASICS ON EARTHQUAKE DESIGN on 9th March 2013.
    • Mrs.ArulMozhi, Asst.Prof./ Excel Engineering College, Presented a paper on Environmental Design structures.

    • Personality Development

    • Orientation Classes were conducted to the students on 15th of July 2011.
    • To improve the Personality Development the classes for PD also carried out 18th of July2011 by Dr.J.Umashankar from Lemre on Relieving Stresses.

    • Survey Camp

    • Every Year students are motivated to do survey camp work for one week in Thalamalai (near by hill).
    • Remaining two days camp was held in Yercaud so that students could gain practical knowledge about Astronomical and Trilateration surveys.
